Not as good as I was hoping it might be, but a lot better than I feared it could be. In any event, I was still very entertained.

Nic Cage is a National Treasure, and the fact that he could play a movie like this seriously without any dialog was just a treat to watch.

The only thing that really brought it down was everybody else in the film. The acting and the dialog was just terrible. That's all part of the joke though. It was supposed to be terrible, and they needed something to offset Cage curb stomping evil Showbiz Pizza puppets on toilet bowls other than his regular fake Monster energy drink and pinball breaks. Otherwise, with only 8 of them, the movie would have only been about 30 minutes long.

There were a couple of REALLY f'in good jokes in there, and they wouldn't have worked with any other actor.

I've heard that the secret recipe to making a "so good it's bad" flick is that it can't be self aware. (The Room, Troll 2, etc.)

But I think this movie proves that you can make one while actively setting out to do just that.

I can't really recommend this to anyone who I don't know personally. If you don't enjoy watching terrible flicks for the train wreck, you probably won't enjoy this... and forget about it if you're not a fan of Cage.

My old man was coming out to see work I've done on the house and we usually watch a flick, so I recommended this one. I told him that if at any point he thought it was terrible that we could turn it off and watch one of the others we had on deck, but he never did. We got quite a few good laughs.

He, thankfully, never subjected himself to Meet the Feebles. I, however, feel that I finally got my revenge on that awful flick when I watched this yesterday.
