Ain’t never proclaimed to know much…the world, it works how it wants…always have…always will…tried changin’ that thinkin’ a long time ago…been down a lotta lonesome roads too…Shepherd Book…I do appreciate his gospels…but they ain’t for me…a man’s gotta right to preach what he wants, I’ll admit it…ain’t no shame in admittin’ what’s right…man’s always had free will…or so the belief goes…who the hell knows…so why I ask, why they so willing to give up their freedoms? To be bound to somethin’ they don’t believe in to retain order? To force others in believin’ what they want? That ain’t freedom…no…it’s slavery…but they ain’t tyin’ me down…not when I got Serenity and the sky…my sky…got me a fine crew (with the exception of a couple I do wonder bout’ from time to time) who (most of the time) wanna do by right…Zoe…don’t know what I’d do w/out her…been with me through a lotta tryin’ times…Wash is a lucky Duh liou mahng…after the Crazy Ivan he pulled way back, I wouldn’t say there’s nuthin’ that man can’t do when it comes to flyin’…Kaylee…she’s a real peach…probably the best damn mechanic ever…and how she is for Serenity…well…hell…the ship would probably fall apart without her…Jayne…well…well…Jayne…uh…well…yeah, that’s a tough one…ain’t no body gonna see this ramblin’…don’t see the point in lyin’ bout someone jus to be nice and all…Simon…didn’t much care for him…brought a lotta trouble with him and little sis on board…helluva doc, tho…one helluva doc!...seems jus’ part of the crew now…River...ain’t quite figured her out jus’ yet…know Simon’s told us how they picked with her brain and all…jus’ hafta to wait and see I guess…no better thing than time to sort things out…and Inara…well…that’s another writin’ for another day…sides’, Wash is callin’ out on the speaker…gonna be touchin down real soon here…
